The Yamaha G2 piano is a classic, along with the C3 it’s possibly the best-selling Yamaha grand piano. From the serial number we know that the piano was manufactured in 1981 in Hamamatsu, the Yamaha headquarters, in Japan, excellent decade of manufacture, when Yamaha made its best pianos. This is an important detail, the G2 model is currently manufactured in Indonesia and the quality level (although they don’t admit it) is not the same as when it was manufactured in Japan. In the images we can see that the piano is in good overall condition, with minimum wear, normal for a 36-year piano. Strings, soundboard, dampers, pegs and the rest of the components are in excellent condition, even the metal harp looks shiny and polished. All that shows that the piano has been very well maintained. Length: 173 cm
