Italica ARS Vase - Hand-painted and Signed

Italica ARS vase 1960 circa Hand-painted Signed underneath 9958/30 Dimensions: height 31 cm, circumference 25 cm Weight: 2.7 kg Tiny chip on the inside lining, not on the vessel. As you can see from the picture only the white part is missing. The vase is intact. Very good condition Italica ARS was founded at the beginning of 1900s. In 1926 the property is in the hands of Tito Bellini, who in 1931 sells it to the brothers Giulio and Danilo Corsani. The production of the 1930s is characterized by the use of a “coral” red typical of the company’s production. Some famous works made by Stelio Corsani in Futurist style are dated back to this period. During the war, the production was suspended and then resumed in 1948, when the workers of the factory gather in cooperative. The production of the postwar years, whose direction is entrusted until 1962 to Turiddu Mori, includes modern and traditional ceramics. In the second half of the seventies, artistic director of the factory, which employs about 120 employees, is Ferrero Mercantelli, who, in 1977, calls the painter Antonio Manzi to create some works. Among the contributors of the time, we include the ceramist Lazzaro. The company has closed in 2009. SHIPPING: We only and exclusively use high-quality packaging materials such as a rigid and strong cardboard box, 1 cm styrofoam on all sides of the box, an ultra-resistant protective film and 200 g bubble wrap to protect your parcel from shocks and falls. We will close the packaging with vinyl adhesive tape with the writing FRAGILE in red colour. For Italy, I recommend to sign with reserve and to take a picture of the packaging before opening it, to the open parcel, before opening the object, and at the opening. The item will be shipped via DHL or NEXIVE. You will receive the tracking code as soon as the parcel gets shipped. With this code, you’ll be able to track the status of your parcel and check the estimated delivery date. This information can be obtained by inserting your tracking code as “Numero di spedizione” on www.dhl.it or www.nexive.it
