19th Century Turkish Ottoman Kurdish Dagger Khanjar Jambiya
Antique 19th century Turkish Ottoman Kurdish dagger Khanjar – Jambiya. A curved double – edged blade formed with a medial ridge horn hilt of typical form. In its original leather covered wooden scabbard elaborately incised with traditional design.
Overall length of the Khanjar sheathed in the scabbard: 38,5 cm. (15,15 inches)
Fairly good condition for it's age. Minor signs of wear on the scabbard. Slight crack in the wooden hilt. Still feels very solid. Slight rust damage on blade as seen on photo's.
Purchased around 30-40 years ago by my grandfather at an auction in Brughes, Belgium.
