This Norton is literally rebuilt from the ground up, by the best 'Norton' technicians. The engine is built with the 'Colorado Norton Works' engines as an example. The following parts are replaced with new ones; - Saddle (Corbin) - Both rims STAINLESS STEEL - Spokes STAINLESS STEEL - Shock absorbers - Internals front fork - Levers - Wiring (partly) - All bearings - Chain and (larger) front sprocket - All sealing rings - Chain Cover STAINLESS STEEL - Electronic ignition - Mirror - Headlight ears - Cables - Both counters - All silent blocks - Cables - Numerous small parts The gearbox (4v), the engine block and the front forks are fully overhauled. After building the engine has run less than 2000 MI. In the oil pipe is a ' stopper ', so that the oil does not run from the oil tank in the crankcase. Not a tap, but inwardly in the pipe. The fuel tank is 'sealed' inside. The engine is on the outside and inside new and is ready to drive. You have nothing more to do. Because of the new pistons and associated compression, you need a firm push on the kickstarter. Cold and hot the engine starts immediately and directly runs idle well.
