Beautiful original reproductions of the work 'Ringslangen' & 'de Band van Mobius' by M.C. Escher from 1968 and 1971. Both identical in terms of colour scheme. Escher created a number of prints based on the concept of the Möbius band, discovered by the German mathematician and astronomer Ferdinand Möbius (1790-1868). De Band van Möbius II (Red ants), Ringslangen was originally issued as woodcut in green, brown and black in July 1969. De Band van Mobius was originally issued as woodcut in red, black, and greyish green, printed from 3 blocks, in 1963. Both are original reproductions from 1968 and 1971 released by Reprinter reproductions, Wezep Holland under copyright 1970 M.C.Escher foundation. Ringslangen is issued as a part of a series of 6 works. The reproductions are in good condition. There are some folds in the margins.
