This is the car painted live by Herman Brood in the TV-show from Catherine Keyl in 1996. A very unique lot. Herman Brood was invited to paint the car live during the Catherine Keyl show in 1996. Herman was having a good day that day and you can tell. The new white Hyundai Excel was painted in Brood-style, nicely painted in 7 places and in different sizes, he used various techniques. The largest is on the bonnet. Herman painted Catherine including her glasses. Brood connoisseurs will recognise his work immediately. There are various smaller works throughout the whole car. He signed it on the roof. The entire car was treated afterwards with a clear lacquer. It took part in regular traffic for a few years but never had any damage. Stored in a heated garage since 2007 as part of a private collection, still in very good condition. Press photos and film footage from the TV recording of Herman and Catherine at and in this artwork are included. Technically in very good condition as well as the sheet metal. The car has arguably only had one TV owner and was always well-maintained. The interior is very neat. The car is from 1996 and still has the same current registration. No longer used in traffic after 2007 and the last 12 years in a private collection, made roadworthy recently, it’s very reliable to drive!
