Matford - Alsace V8 72 Cabriolet F 91 A - 1939

Matford Alsace V8 Carbiolet F91 A from 1939, for restoration. Registered in Barcelona in 1940. Includes photographs of its current condition and of its condition when it was found. The vehicle had been stored in this haystack since the 70s, until a couple of years ago. It was bought by a collector who started the restoration: the chassis was sandblasted and painted, axles and brakes were rebuilt, the car got 5 new Michelin Classic tyres and the engine was disassembled in order to check its condition. The car engine was disassembled and is stored inside a pallet/crate, ready to be sent to have it redressed. The mechanic that disassembled it ensures that there is no missing part. There is a note listing the jobs to perform to redress the engine: 1.- Melt antifriction in connecting and bedplate. 2.- Do bedplate in block. There were sockets mounted. 3.- Big end clearance. Or bronze socket or bolt. 4.- Segment set. If required, fit pistons. 5.- Rebore cylinder head. Another American Ford V8 engine is included. Unfortunately, the owner passed away and left this project unfinished. The car was complete, so the removed pieces are either inside it or in crates (see pictures). All the pieces of the interior, clocks, controls, pedals, etc. are inside the car. The bodywork has no remarkable rust. There are several dents that can be seen in the photos, but none of them is serious. The car is sold with a special used items regime sales invoice, a report from the Spanish road administration (Dirección General de Tráfico), and with the history report from the Spanish Ministry of Industry. The car is located in Madrid, Spain. Offers do not include transport or export, unless otherwise indicated.
