Nostalgic wall coffee mill of the famous brand PeDe from the 30s. Produced in Breukelen (The Netherlands) Has a ceramic bean reservoir with wooden cap. Behind the cast iron grinding house there’s a set screw to set the coarseness with. Underneath is the glass receptacle. The pendulum is of iron with a wooden handle. Ensemble is attached to a painted wooden plank with four holes to attach to the wall. Functional and very decorative. Dimensions: H: 34 cm x W: 12 cm x D: 18 cm Dimensions are the height and width of wooden back wall and depth of bean reservoir + pendulum. Condition: signs of wear and age. Ceramics completely intact. Glass is missing a chip on the back on the outside edge, absolutely not bothersome for receptacle part. Cap is mostly peeled off. Everything original, complete, tested and fully functional. Grinds fine. The photos are an integral part of the description. The lot will be carefully packaged and sent by registered and insured mail with Track & Trace. May also be collected by appointment in Rotterdam-Kralingen. PeDe history: PeDe is the abbreviation for Peter Dienes. German factory existed from 1869 to 1962, made hand coffee mills and later electric mills. The Dutch son-in-law of Peter Dienes, Paul Land started in 1919 in Breukelen with the production of PeDe coffee mills, bread slicers and cutting bean mills. PeDe - the Netherlands was ceased to exist around 1970.
