Made in 1971 by the luthier Oscar Teller a guitar in good shape apart a cracking on the board but easily to repair. It sounds great in these conditions so I cannot image how would it works in good order! Oskar Teller was born on 23.10.1902 in Schönbach and came from an old Schönbacher violin making family. He was the only one of eight brothers who cut himself out of tradition and learned the craft of guitar making from Ignaz Mettal, a renowned guitar builder from Schönbach. After some journeyman years with other well-known guitar makers, Oskar Teller became independent in 1931. Classical guitars made in West Germany. According to an interview with Mason Wiliams, the composer of Classical Gas” his recording guitar was branded “Cordova” and made by Oscar Teller.
